Hi my friends call me Blue and this is my 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Hey sign my guestbook! Ive been lazy so all of the pics that i have are from the previous owner. I have cleaned up the engine added a stereo system and cleaned up the whole car overall. Since these pictures where taken. I will add more/better pics in the near future as soon as get a Digital Camera. All my money is going into the car right now. :)

I've been a Firebird fanatic now for about 13 years. It took a while to find a Firebird that had everything that i wanted a V8, 5-speed with T-Tops. I finally found her in July and here she is.

She came from the Factory with the 5.0 Liter 305 CI V8 (Thats about 5000 cc's for you import enthusiasts.)She has Hooker headers with an aftermarket Dual Energy Comp Cam that adds some horsepower to the car but you cant really tell with those dirty valve covers. I was told by the previous owner that the F.I. was modified but i havent verified it yet.

This isnt a very good picture of the engine. It wasnt cleaned at all when it was taken. I'm going to remove the AC system and i need to put in a high powered alternator to handle my stereo system

She also has the Borg-Warner T-5 5-Speed transmission. The crappy stock plastic tranny mount blew so i got a Polyueathene mount from Energy Suspension. Here is an interior shot of her. I'll soon have the Pro 5.0 shifter with the MOMO knob and Boot.

The transmission shifts smoothly and soon i will be putting in the Centerforce Dual-Friction Clutch in her.

Here are some of the things that im going to install within the next year some of course sooner than others, 160 degree thermostat, Ram-Air induction kit and a stage 2 Hypertech chip, Borla Loudmouth exaust with SLP Headers, LS1 styled Ram Air hood, 4th gen style Rear spoiler, white gauge inlays, aluminum driveshaft, and an Eibach pro spring kit. There are some other things that will be done later.

Below is a nice picture of the Dual Flowmaster turbo exaust system with the 3.5" chrome tips. They add a few more horses and they make the car sound so nice!

Here is a pic of her 2 year old "ok" paint job done by MAACO. The biggest problem that i have with it is the fact that they painted over and removed the emblems and never replaced them..GRRRRR.... well anyways she still shines pretty good i should get those replaced in march.

I've already taken her on I-95 and gotten her up to 138 MPH. I've also taken out some Imports, an 88 Firebird Formula, and a Mustang 5.0 I dont usually race domestics because its just more fun with the Imports. Hearing those lawnmower mufflers just incites me to race.

I think my $500 drag racing ticket can speak for itself! (oops) First lesson learned: DONT GET CAUUGHT! Well i'll try to curve myself in street racing ill see how long i last. Hopefully ill get the pics up soon.

Also on a last note if any Firebird/Camaro owners are interested in getting together to show off are stuff in the chico-redding area let me know. I'm very interested in meeting others that love these cars so if your interested in getting some people together to talk about cars and etc.. then sign my guestbook and let me know have fun and race safe!

Hey, nice TA. Can't wait to see it after some mods. Anything planned? By the way, I have the centerforce dual friction in my 86 TA, and it is the best clutch I've ever had. Hooks up real nice, but drives like stock. Anyways, come check out my 86 modded TA when you got the chance. Peace
