Oh Man!!
A few months after my paint job, i was driving around after 9 o clock, and at that time i wasnt able to according to the darn law. I heard a tapping sound coming from the motor, everyone said it sounded like a loose heat shield and not to worry about it, so i was like 2 minutes from my home and then boom! the car filled with smoke so i pulled over, the car was on fire for about 10 minutes, then thankfully someone came with a fire extuignisher and put it out, i got a burnt hood and front my front spoiler, alot of things under the hood were burned or completely gone due to the fire, like fans and hoses. i then found out i shot a rod and a piston shot through the block and hit my fans and made a spark, i took the insurance money and bought a new motor, from a 1996 nissan primera, with no emissions and about 25 more horsepower, and got a trany from a 1997 200sx se-r. heres some pics!
