Installation of 8.5mm Magnecor Ignition Leads
Installation of Denso Irridium Spark Plugs
Currently working on the idea of fitting a bigger carb. I bought an inlet manifold onto which an adapter made from aluminium will be welded onto the inlet manifold. The carb is a Weber 36 IDF twin choke downdraft type from an Alfa 33.
General Vehicle Info
I had own this car since October 1992. It is a standard 998cc engine. Exteriorly the car have not much till now. I have single wiper, MS-Design rear lower spoiler, extra front spot lights. I have fitted MAK 15 inch wheels with Marangoni 195x45x15 rubber.
ENGINE:
Currently the engine is pretty standard with the only modifications being K&N air filter, Magnecor 8.5mm ignition leads and Denso Irridium plugs. The whole exhaust system has been replaced by a 2 inch stainless steel system with only 1 straight through back box and ending with a 4 inch tail pipe. Future modifications to the engine include a carb replacement to a Weber or even a whole engine swap with a J12 fuel injection engine to which a turbo will be fitted.
INTERIOR:
I have done some mods to the interior of the car. Mods include front black Sparco Torino seats, Racing Dynamics steering wheel, Sparco gear knob, Jamex pedals and some dails on a home made center console. I have also fitted Sparco 3-point harness. Future enhancements will be done on the interior and this include the covering of the door panels and rear seats to match the front. Also the center console will be replaced. Neons will also be fitted on the inside.
ICE:
With regards to ICE currently I have the following setup. Kenwood head unit feeding an Equilizer. This intern feeds two amps one 150x2 to which 2 6x9 280W speakers are connected and the other amp 450x1 to which a 500W 10" sub is connected. To the whole lot a CD Changer is also connected. All the above equipment is Kenwood. Further enhancements will include a DVD and screen fitting.
