This is my site for my baby. She is a 1982 datsun 810 maxima with an LD28 diesel motor. I am replacing the 3 speed AT with a 5sp MT from an 80 280ZX. Before long I will get a new intake to boost me up to 350 HP!Other mods include a MP3/CD player and a wood adapter plate.
It is currently in resto/customization phase, so the trunk is the wrong color (but closer than the periwinkle it was). All else is stockfor now, so I will keep you posted and more pix will come later as I get work done. Feel free to leave suggestions in the guestbook.
Update: Tranny swap will be complete this weekend. Fabricated pedal assembly.
Now wouldnt some euro tail lights look killer? Too bad they dont make them for a first gen max? BTW the cat is Lucky coming to see me:)
The last pic is kinda-sorta what it will look like later. I am going for a brickyard or a 011K (whatever that is), but MGI Photosuite just didnt help much.
