This is my 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, it came with a 350R and th350. The car has 68400 miles on it, it was stored for like 9 years. I got it from my dad for my 16th birthday, it had been sitting for 2 years when i got it,I replaced the brakes, shocks, both exhaust manifolds were broken, exhaust, water pump, tranny mount, rad, every hose was origional so i got all new ones, new accel ignition with coil, center pieces on the rims, so almost everything. The only thing that was good were the new tires.
I DID ALL THE WORK MYSELF WITH MY OWN MONEY, IT TOOK ME ALMOST A YEAR TO GET IT ON THE ROAD.
Then the tranny started to leak from the the pan, changed the gasket but then the gasket burst and after that there was no reverse and only 1st and 3rd gear worked so i parked it with my th350 toasted(ended up being a blocked vent tube). Then i found a 1979 Olds 98 Regency, it had a 403 with a freshly rebuilt th400. Bought it for $700. Drove it for like 3 months then i ripped out the engine and tranny so i could bolt the th400 up to my 350R. But now im rebuilding the 403 to go in my Cutlass. Performance Improvements took care of the machine work. They say to expect 450hp and 500 ftlbs with aluminum heads but i might end up using my 350's heads.
I have lots of 403 and 350 engine parts way to much stuff to list so if you interested leave me a message!
