My 1997 740iL

y2k4s80t6's 1997 BMW 7-Series

Hello people.

This is my 1997 740iL. Look. It's green! And.. um... wtf... It's a big fat E38 and I love it. I've had it for damn near 8 years, it's now got about 116K miles and I haven't wrecked it yet.

See Page 2 for updates, when and if I feel like posting the pics... I finally got sick of the stock Basketweaves and put a set of 18" Style 93s on it and Chroime center Grilles and Crystal Taillights.

It has all options except PDC, Nav and EDC. It's got ass warmers, DSP, Comfort seats, sunshades and an old Analog phone (CMT3000VR) that I still have service on and still use.

Another shot of it...

When I bought it it had a combo of worn-out MXV4s and Kumho 714s.

I just replaced those with some Yokohama Avid V4s, they seem to be a bit more responsive and will be my winter tires. Nex upgrade which I suppose I'll wait till the spring to install is a set of SSR GT3s.. I bought them and have been too lazy to put em on yet.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! So whaddya tryin' to do to these poseurs, Bill? *I* know you got an M5 (or two). *You* know you got an M5. And you put a buncha' pix of yer Land Barge here? It looks lowered. Is there an S38 in the trunk? An M30 mit gearbox? The whole bunch of 'em isn't worth owning. And there's a reason their cars are named after a common military abbreviation for 'coming home in a box' ...

Hey fuckhead, why don't you do some reading as opposed to just looking at pictures. The ///M division of BMW is a tuner company that takes a stock BMW and upgrades various performance aspects. That's exactly what I did. Mostly with ///M parts. The only difference between my car and and an ///M3 of the same year, is that I have MORE hp and tq. You sound like the kind of person that buys a BMW based on the roundel on the hood, not because you know anything about the company.

You told him! hu? in your own page... LOL!!! Just give mom her car back and go sup up a honda like everyone else does... You see all that money your mom or maybe your step daddy spent on that car could have been used to fix up your house after Fran came thru... Oh... your a big boy now cause you get to play with mommy's car...

Shitty car Tor? The sales tax I paid on that car is more than your Kia is worth. Now, let's see what else he can think up. Oh, he cant! That's right, one of the Kia Fags made comments about a car a friend of mine owned, and we made commetns back (I.E people with 85hp $500 cars should nto be writing checks with their keyboards abotu M3s that their asses can't cash). So I should kiss your ass because you volunteered to serve in the Military? Good job though on making the comments about Osama, that's real mature coming from a member of the military. Spare me. Try responding to me instead of going into infantile diatribe.
