This Picture is from about a year and a half ago, there has been alot of new modifications I have done to the buggy. I have instaled a 1/4 inch steel plate under the underside of the floor pans and added polished diamond plate on the top of the floor pans for a little show. We have also replace the 4 14 inch yellow rims you see on it now with 2 13 inch rims in the front and two 15*10 inch rims in the rear with some fat street racing tires. Just wait till you see it!!!
I am actually in the market to sell my dunebuggy or trade it for some type of motorcycle. Please leave me messages if you are interested in buying this one of a kind dunebuggy or have a motorcycle you are interested in trading!!! The entire 5 pages will show you multiple pictures of this ride and I have provided some contact information on page 5 if you are interested in this one of a kind Dunebuggy!!!
A little info, this is a street legal 1959 volkswagen beetle chasis. Back in the 1970's My father and one of his close friends went on the mission to build there custom dunebuggy. They started out with the beetle, removed the top and but the entire back seat out wich is about 36 inches. This makes the buggy very short. While sitting in it I can place my foot on the front tire and touch the back tire with my hand.
Finally After a whole year I have updated pictures!!!!!!!
You can see in this picture the new rims which have been used.
