**Brakes**
This is a shot of my original brake rotors with my previous 16" OZ Superleggera rims...

...and this is a shot of the same rim but with 1,8L rotors. Note the increase in size!

As it has been proven, the 1,8L brake setup is a great improvement over the 1,6L setup. I've upgraded the fronts and the rears to the 1,8L rotors and I'd recommend everyone do it too. It's not expensive yet the braking is soooo much better!
I also installed a set of Goodridge steel-braided brake hoses.
Cleaned and painted my calipers GOLD! (28th April 2004)
**Update 12th January 2005**
Feeling disappointed with the brake 'feel', I had thought of buying a Cusco or similar brake booster brace. This will prevent the booster assembly from moving forward whilst under hard braking, resulting in stronger braking and better pedal 'feel'. But having seen how much those aftermarket companies charge for those, I decided to get mine locally fabricated! So, here it is! An effective, adjustable and cheap brake booster brace!

***Result***
Initial braking is normal, then when a stronger force is applied on the brake pedal, the braking 'bite' is nice and firm. There is no more the usual 'kreok' noise when I do hard braking as the booster does not move forward anymore. I'm very, very pleased!!
