well, to start with, my name is jason. i have owned this car for 3 1/2 yrs. i didn't start doing anything to the car until this past spring, when i got a wild hair and said "i don't have enough things to spend money on!"
my ride at work...so far i have put 17" g-racing saporro rims, 205/40/17 rubber, custom cold air intake, custom mesh grille(i am about to replace), 10mm plug wires, and a ractive strut tower brace.
okay, here's the latest news. i got a decent set of coil-overs from autobahn motorsports, a local custom shop here in rock hill. i put them on myself, with no problems thru the first three wheels...
then, when i tried to take off the rear passenger wheel, the lugnuts split, or cracked, whatever. either way, the key that fits inside to turn them was just turning around inside the lugnut, not doing squat! (pissed, i am!)
the guys at the tuner shop said "yeah, sucks huh? cheap lugnuts, you should get some better ones."(cursed at him, i did) "take it to this welding shop, they can get it off the wheel for ya."
so after 1 1/2 hrs, my lugnut is now welded to both the wheel and the stud! yippie! the guy at the welding shop said "well, ya oughta take'er on home, jack'er up, brace'er real good, getcha a big'ol hammer...(you might see now that this is not going to end well..)an' beat 'hell oughta that blasted wheel 'till it breaks off." this is a true professional, i assure you. this guy had more toes than teeth, and since he wasn't wearing shoes, i had counted.
so, if anyone has a good idea how to get broken tuner lugs off of a rim w/ recessed lug holes, hit me up at likwidjas@yahoo.com. i'm dumbfounded, and welcome any enlightenment. as long as a big'ol hammer is not involved, my only pre-requisite.

the day my rims came in
next up: ditch the cat, going straight pipe! found a place that's going to fix up a "test pipe" so i can take out the catalytic converter. it's about time to replace it, anyhow.
