Her name is Abbie Normal, she is a 1988 Chrysler LeBaron Turbo 4dr Sedan. Most of the '88 Turbo LeBarons you come across are the drop top variety. And that caught my interest as did the price tag. ;-)
Some interior shots ... color is same as exterior, but without the fade. Only things missing are the knobs for a/c unit and the flap door on the casette deck.
What really matters to most of you ...
The digital dash ... wasn't sure if I liked it when I first saw the car ... but it has grown on me.
Odometer ... when I picked the car up it had around 113,850 or so miles ... this picture was taken four whole days later.
Upcoming for the car is a new 2.5" exhaust and I will be ridding it of that absurd cat. converter. A DynoMax freeflowing muffler will go in as well for a nice throaty sound. Will be updating the technology in the radio area ...new speakers, new head unit ... etc. Then I will be confronting the wheels and tires ... not that there is anything wrong with the stockers, I want something I can trust when i decide to pick on the fried rice around town. Eventualy a paint job and more boost, but that is a ways away for now.
