Hello and Welcome to my one car garage!
Entwicklung-Zwanzig Eine

This 1979 BMW 320i specimen you see before you is my rendition of the North American E21. This E21 started her journey in December of 78 as my dads newly purchased vehicle. Some 20 years later I wound up with the keys in hand. Another 2 years later the motor lost compression at 255k miles, and it was decided to do a full restoration. I kept the original Reseda Green Metallic (resedagrn - metallic) paint and added a drop or two of pearl. I also decided to take the road less traveled and go with a full performance rebuild on the 2.0L M10, rather than going for a motor swap or boost. After 10 months of being sanded, welded, messaged, drilled, and bolted it was finally time to put her on the road and do what she would do best. That was June of 2001, and she has been on the road ever since.

Use my trusty table of contents to help you navigate throughout the site.

As you can see there has been some work done to this beauty to insure the Euro look. It starts with front and rear Euro bumpers. A new rear valance was fabricated to hide the holes of the previous federalized US bumpers. The rear side light indicators were filled and shaved, along with the lock holes on both doors. The rear center section was also smoothed and filled. Alpina front spoiler and wheels compliment the aggressive look of this E21 as well as the lowered stance. The stock chrome mirrors were replaced with electric Vitaloni E3 mirrors. A few other hints to the Euro look are the clear blinker indicator lenses and housing. Hella E-Code French headlight lenses reside in the highbeam buckets, and clear E-Code lenses in the lowbeam. Mono-colored 323i rear tail-lights complete the look.

Damn nice e21. I might be picking one up for either free or really cheap and would love for it to look half as good as yours. Check out my ION Redline.
