hey all I'm 16 and i got this truck as a present for my 14th b-day and I know its not much to look at it but I'm happy and it keeps me busy now living in canada does have its disadvantages like RUST!!!!! i don't need to explain you will see!! but I'm open for suggestions but keep in mind i'm 16 so money is tight

already got new steering wheel, hood, fenders, bumper, tailgate, left rocker, cab corners, checker plate for floor,tranny

still need rear bumper, box fenders, left door,

truck seems to be coming along... yeah.. the vortecs suck air from the front of the manifold and have an air pipe to air box with filter on the driverside I believe... and says vortec on the top.

Doing good on the ol' s15, but that 4.3 looks like its not a vortec, vortec's were introduced in 91, and are completely different. But good job so far, im building an 89 jimmy with plans for a 350-400 horsepower 4.3 (non-vortec) yes it is possible without a blower, if you need any advice on it, just ask, im a GM certified technician with lots of experiance on s10's and such good luck
