Maidonian's 1989 GMC Jimmy
Thanks for stopping to look at my truck.
I bought this 1989 S15 Jimmy in june of 2003 for 2 grand. It has close to 180K miles on it and it still runs pretty well. Its a 2wd 4.3L. I have had it for a few months now, I already put over 2500 into into it. I am currently fixing all the typical problems such as leaks, alignment and so on. Here is a list of what I've added-

Maidonian's 1989 GMC Jimmy

-Proline performance air filter
-New headliner
-Lots of maintenance work on the engine.
-Minor electrical work
-Front end alignment
-Stereo System
-Spiked license plate holders
-New door seals
-Hydraulic arms for the rear hatch
-Had to plug two tires..
-Touched up some scratched, flaked and faded paint.
-Removed rust from the leaf springs
-Magnaflow exhaust
-Holley Throttle body
-Jacobs Spark Plug wires
-Autolite Spark plugs

Update 10-3-3

If I can get away with throwing a V8 engine in my Jimmy and get it legally done and pass the smog laws here in So. CA, I will take a couple weeks off and drive up to my Moms place in Minnesota and have her husband throw a 350 V8 in it. If I cant do the V8 conversion, he'll build me a 4.3L engine with vortec heads. So come April-May I will hopefully have a beefier engine put in!

If any of you guys have any info on a V8 conversion and how to do it with the existing computer or what I should do to make it CA smog legal I would really appreciate it if you left some info. Thanks!!

Take care everyone, and please feel free to sign my guest book!

My Brother's 98 Z28 Camaro is on page 2

Page 3 is about my inexpensive, yet decent quality stereo.

Page 4 is my muscle car restoration prject.

AND REMEMBER!!!

yeah, i had heard of overheating problems before, so when i was moddin mine, my uncle insisted i did something about it. so we got a rad off a siezed corvette LT1 and with a bit of modifying we put it in with dual elec fans, and now that bitch will never overheat even driving in 90F down the highway pinned for 3 days straight ahaha....
