This car is my weekend toy, and is one of 26 LS1-powered Formulas that were painted Bright Purple Metallic. As soon as I saw it for sale, I knew I had to have it!! I purchased this car in late June of 2003, and shipped it back to Seattle from Texas. I bought this car with the intention of turning it into a full time drag racer, but intend to retain its street drivability... but now I'm gravitating towards making it more for show and taking on cruises... and I plan to build something a little more radical for the drag strip - but that doesn't mean this car won't continue getting faster, or stop being modded... I have lots of plans for it!

So far it's proven to be very consistent on the drag strip, and has run a best of 12.676 @ 108.43 mph... My goal has been to make a highly consistent drag car that will run in the low 12's, yet not be distinguishable on the street from a stock LS1 car... but I know I can go a lot farther. Right now my lack of a permanent garage space is making it difficult to move forward.

I purposely chose a hardtop car with a 4-speed automatic and a cloth interior due to it's light weight, more rigid body structure, and ultra consistent E/Ts for bracket racing. This car will definitely see A LOT of racing action, and will be at the strip at least 5 or 6 times a month.

The car just returned from being repainted and cleaned up on 4/9/05... and I have been busy modding it and getting it all detailed and pretty looking.. Now that I have the looks where I want them, I'm going to start doing performance modifications to it.

Soon I'm going to be adding another page to detail the transformation of this car from it's original state to show quality.. Watch this page to see the progress as this car is fixed and built up into a badass street machine!
