This page is for my 1984 Spectra Red Z28. It was a Florida car and garage kept for 9 years before I purchased it. New headliner and carpet, Grant GT Challenger steering wheel, 305 High Output V8 engine, 5 speed manual trans, 3:73 posi rear, Dynomax exhaust, 2 exhaust tips on each side, cruise control, A/C, power seat, windows, and hatch, soon to have hood louvers. Not too bad for a girl's car, huh?
6/2/04: Hit a telephone pole with my baby :( Its not totaled, and it will be getting fixed. Of course, it will need to be repainted because I need a whole new passenger side door and fender, and hood...and they will more than likely be blue if the parts fit. IM me for more details if you want to know more.
9/29/04: Got my baby back from the body shop =) More beautiful than ever.
5/30/05: First time at the track (Piedmont Dragway), ran 10.1 @ 71.66 BONE STOCK with spare tire, tire iron, mini jack, full tank of gas, and other things still in car. Not too bad for a stock 305.
7/29/05: Best time of 10.154 @ 69.48mph at Lowcountry Dragway
10/08/06: Awaiting LS1/T56 swap. Purchased a 12 bolt Moser rear. 4/11's, Eaton heavy duty posi.
New best time of 10.028 on street tires @ Lowcountry Dragway!!! Still stock!
Pic from the Autotrader page I originally saw it on ... sucky quality but it still made me fall in love with it.
I like this shot of it...one of the first days I had it. My money pit.
Booty shot of the bebe. It was so sunny and nice then damnit.
Getting down to level with it, loving the front.
Another sexy booty shot of the Z-bebe...pre-exhaust tips.
This was when the door panel was removed to put on a new doorhandle and put the window back on track.
Gots my Dale Earnhardt blanket covering the rear seats and the stuff under the hatch.
The interior looks madd dirty in this pic, but its alot cleaner in person.
The speedometer with mph and kmh so I wont speed in Canada. Check out the odometer ... 20 years old and 96,200 miles on it.
The Grant Challenger GT steering wheel. My mom doesnt like it, claims its too small for her to be comfortable with.
Stock radio, now has a Sony in it. The stock radio didnt work anymore anyway.
The tachometer in all its glory.
Where all the good stuff happens. 305 5.0L High Output V8 engine. Gotta love the V8 purr.
Some headlights and a turn signal in the off mode.
My sign which is now non-existant. Someone sat/leaned on my car and scratched the paint, so now I'm the only exception. I got alot of interesting looks at the car show with that sign. Laughs, smiles, and dirty glares.
When boredom hits, this appears.
A close up of the air filter cover with the 305 on it, and the Chevy wingnut
Me disobeying my sign and sitting on the back before going to work one day. A decent picture of me is hard to come by.
Front of the Z-bebe...somewhat looks like it has headlight covers in the pic. Sparked a new idea on something else to buy for it.
Front angle shot, still looks like theres headlight covers on it.
After its first wash from me. A quickie job because I was late for work, but clean none-the-less.
Sexy emblem on the passenger side inside.
Another picture of the 'powerplant' under the hood.
The tailpipe tips my dad put on. They originally came off his 78 Chevy pickup, and he told me one day I could have them for a car.
Both exhaust tips, and the ever so lovely NJ license plate gracing the rear end of my car.
My red & black floormats. Thank god for those, people have been getting in my car with madd dirty feet.
Interior, passenger side shot. The fuzzy dice were kidnapped from John's 85 Grand Prix.
The Sony headunit. I love it even more because it has red lights behind the buttons to go with the car.
Another booty shot showing the tips and those 'hott' yellow NJ plates. It'll have vanity plates soon enough.
I love love loveeee the angle this pic was taken on, I just wish the shadow wasnt covering 1/3 of the hood!
Another front shot. You can see the side of one of my snowy winter weather rides, my dad's 97 Dodge Ram 1500 ext. cab.
Me & the Z-bebe before its first show after it was all spiffy-ed up.
My car with Claude's VW, June 18, 2004 (2 days before I left SR)
The other winter ride, 1980 Chevy pickup. I'm a redneck now, its sitting in my backyard with some Camaro parts scattered around.
ITS FIXED AGAIN!!!
All pretty after coming home from the bodyshop.
So beautiful
My car before the New Years Day Cruise In
My car with Jay's ET Streets (1 run - 10.048, then it rained)
