July 2005

I wanted to take more pics of the car and engine compartment:

June 2005: I finally got the windows tinted. Check out the shine on the paint job...and this is just from a simple wash.

April 28, 2005: My friend John, formerly known as BLNW5SPD, has passed the torch, so to speak. I was given a 2 x 10 banner stating, "Lincoln - Mercury Motorsport". This banner will be displayed by hanging it onto a newly purchased 10' x 10' canopy, which will be utilized to house the BMNLSC at carshows.

April 1, 2005: I finally Dyno'ed the BMNLSC. I am pretty happy with the results. I have yet to "chip and tune" the BMNLSC, so there should be considerable more horsepower and torque hitting the pavement. There were three pulls, which ultimately ended with 390 RWHP and 400 RWTQ (rounded). I will post the actual dyno slip after I scan it at work. I want to thank Mustang Magic for the Dyno pulls.

Here is the scan showing the actual numbers.

I want to bump the boost up to 11-12, instead of the 7 I have currently. With my current setup, Mustang Magic says that I can have 475 RWHP with a change to 1.7 Roller Rockers, in addition to the "chip and tune".

I actually have the Dyno event video'ed, but will have to get my own site to host them. So, if that happens, I may just delete this site.

March 2005: I got my friend John out at Captree with his LSC, formerly known as BLWN5SPD. Pictures came out pretty good.

What ricers and GM drivers see all time...

Just another nice rear end shot.

Feb 13th 2005: Another chilly day, thought I would take the BMNLSC to Captree to see all the Vette's, Viper's, Porshe's and Ferrari's..of course the bikes were out there too. My co-worker showed up with his 2004 Chevy Corvette Z06, with only 5000 miles. We hung out for awhile and departed to Ocean Parkway heading westbound. No cops in sight and four races ensued. I couldn't get traction with the drag radials, until the third race. On the second run, I spun the tires 1st through 3rd..not that I could hear them in third, as the exhaust and supercharger were screaming. The Z06 left me, as I was spinning tires. But let's just say the third and fourth runs didn't go in the Z06's favor. Mike let the tail end get away from him in the fourth run.

I couldnt believe the traction the BMNLSC made after the tires heated up. There was minimal tire spin and the Z06 quickly fell behind...I would quickly glance in the driver's side door mirror and I could see Mike's face. I had at least 1 car length on him, until we hit fourth and let me just say that his Z06 must have an extra supply of kick ass, because he launched like he was the space shuttle. I havent switched to my custom 150mph speedo yet, so my current speedo was pegged at the 85mph mark. We pulled over after the fourth run and all he could say was..."damn you car is a monster." He also commented that as loud as the BMNLSC is, it would defeat the mindset of most drivers just hearing her come up to the 6000 rpm mark. Both his windows were down during the four runs and he said his ears were still ringing from the supercharger screaming. Being that he was behind me in the last two runs, he wasnt happy for two things 1) the magnaflows were loud as hell and 2) there was reminence of black smoke trailing out of the car. I must of had tunnel vision, as I didnt hear shit...go figure.

This was the first time I had floored the BMNLSC. The reason for the black smoke from the exhaust is because the BMNLSC needs a dyno-chip and tune. During the build of the BMNLSC, we ran the system rich to ensure no detonation. It is running mint, however, I am cannot wait to have her running properly after the tune.

Here are the pictures of both cars at Captree:

Dec 5th 2004: It was a chilly, but bright day, so I thought why not.

Sept. 2004: I hooked up with LSCNY (Jimmy) and NightCreeper (Andrew). These pictures were taken at both the Throgs Neck and Whitestone Bridges. Test your knowledge and see if you can tell which is which.

These were at one bridge:

This was a solo shot of the BMNLSC at another bridge..this one being on Long Island...do you know?

I thought I would keep these photos, as they were the first photos of the vanity plates on the BMNLSC:

The BMNLSC has had her share of hard knocks (no pun intended). On March 25th, 2001, I was involved in an accident where a female driver attempting to make a right turn from the far left lane (3 lanes away) hit my header panel and bumper on the driver's side. There was absolutely no frame damage. The police responded, as I wanted to have it reported as the accident was clearly her fault. During the blending process at the auto body shop, it did not go as planned and I ended up painting the whole car. It cost the female driver's insurance company $3700.00 for the custom Dupont color. Here are the pictures of the accident just after it occurred:

On May 1st, 2001, the BMNLSC was repaired having a new header panel and bumper, as well as a new paint job:
