soulcannon's 1990 Chevrolet Cavalier This is a pic of the mighty 2.2L OHV TBI powerhouse GM made in 1990. Just kidding!!! It only pumps out 95bhp(96PS)and120lb.ft of torque(16.6kg/m) but it does it's job without any problem in the winter.

Heres a side shot of the exterior not a lot of rust and it needs a paint job but still good. The rims now are ones from the 1st generation Chevrolet Cavalier Z24!(Not Shown In this Picture)

This is basically a true G-Cruiser, a 1990 Chevrolet Cavalier CL. Equipped with a hybrid 2.0L/2.2L I4 OHV engine when I say hybrid,I mean that the previous owner b4 my bro was an idiot slapping on 2.0L parts on a 2.2L engine. It was originally a beater my elder brother bought 4 the winter.the G-Cruiser died on March 15,2004 during a snowstorm,it slid on a patch of black ice at low speed and it fucked up the suspension lines plus bent the subframe. It really was a tough car too bad we don't have the time to repair it.My next(and actually first) car is going to be a 1986 Mazda 626 2.0L Turbo hatchback but I'll keep this up as a memento of a good car despite what other people say.

Update: I bought my first car on August 19,2004 and it's not the Mazda(previous owner procrastinated way too much). It's a 1989 Chevrolet Beretta GT
I plan just to use it as a college car and then hopefully buy a Datsun Fairlady Z after I get out of college.

Thanks for posting on my Chevrolet Monza SPyder site, It currently has a rebuilt 3.8L 231ci V6 that it came factory with, but a 305 V8 was an available option in the Monza. Thanks for the compliments too, my Spyder has taken a lot of effort and work but well worth it with comments like yours (won Best-of-Show with it recently). If your looking for more info on the Monza check these sites ... http://monza.homestead.com/monza.html and www.v8monza.com

Many thanks for the good comments. Nice to see others appriciating the old classics (even if they aren't truly "classics" that's ok) It's been a blast seeing what this car can do. I'm really excited to get to more of the engine work. Good luck with your restoration/customization of the Chevy. Let me know how the progress goes! Take care.
