This is my 1992 Chevrolet Lumina Euro. I bought it five years ago with only 48,000 KMS (30,000 miles) on it. It now has 182,200 KMS. as of October 2007. I paid $8,000 CAD ($5600 US) for it at the time. It seemed to be a little high for a 92', but it had really just been broken in. The car was in mint condition. The dark blue paint still looked like it came from the show room. It had been rust proofed, and the interior was spotless.
When I bought the car I got new tires for it as the original ones were starting to crack. I paid $500 for a set of Hercules Touring tires. These are great tires. Since the car had not been driven alot I also needed to replace the alternator, battery, and have the A/C retrofited. This was covered in half by the dealership and was taken care of within the first month. Since then I have only replaced a starter and had new rotors and pads put on. I had the plugs and wires changed in the beginning of 05'.
All I have done with the engine is drop in a K&N filter. I have also changed the oil myself from day one. I change it regularly, and use Mobil One Synthetic Motor oil and Fram oil Filters. I figure this is the single most important thing for the engine, so why not!
