ITS ALL ABOUT SPEED ...
I have recently achieved a speed of 143MPH at about 4900-5000RPM. I know that from this point on it will take some time to get to greater speeds. But asuming that with a LPM chip and a 8000RPM MAX the SHO will achieve +160MPH. Take in consideration that i have 18inch wheels that weigh 27lbs each .
DYNO NUMBERS ...
Last time and only time the SHO was dynoed was about 2 years ago. It had made 201HP and 199FT/LBS of torque.
Vehicles the SHO has put to shame
1. Lexus IS 300 - This was when i first had gotten the SHO. It needed a clutch and motor mounts. The IS300 Was left in the dust about 2 1/2 cars just off the burnout jump.
2. Grand Prix GTP - My brother was the one to achieve this when coming back from getting groceries. He said that they both got out prettuy even but left the GTP back in second, to about the rear of the SHO, and kept up, watching the SHO's rear end.
3. Turbo Supra(older model) - Pretty much the same story as the GTP with out the groceries.
4. 94 Mustang GT - This was a top end challenge. I had passed up this Stang on the express way at about 80MPH when the stang was doing 70MPH. The passenger was actually video recording. The stang caught up and passed pretty quick. I down shifted from 5th to 3rd and caught up immediatly (about 5-10sec) and left him behind with no problem.
Vehicles that has put THE SHO to shame
1. Acura RSX Type S - This was a top end challenge also. I saw this little feller and caught up. Once that happen we both floored it. We kep even with each other till about i started hitting 130MPH he started pulling away, i hit 140MPH and still going.
Must be nice to have a 9000RPM limit.
