A note to Maryland (Baltimore, Glen Burnie, etc) area people
I would highly recommend staying away from HP Racing in Glen Burnie. This is their 'fabulous' exhaust work. I'm currently in progress of determining which shop is going to fix it. I will probably go with the very reputable Cliff's Direct Effect. They are known for their work to my friend's '97 Civic.

You'll see that HP Racing ran their exhaust piping directly over my rear axle. (This picture is after I took the car back a THIRD time to get them to fix it) I actually had to forgo a dropped car just to make the Paseo drivable after this. I had thought about letting HP do a lambo door install on my car, but there's no way that's going to happen now if I can't trust them with a $75 weld job.

Quick story of the car:
From 2003- March 2005 I had a White 1997 Paseo Coupe. Had about 2 years of work in it when someone hit the front end and totaled the car. Always had a thing for the Convertibles and since I needed a new car, in May 2005 I hiked about 150 miles out to New Jersey to pick up a bare bones stock Black Convertible Paseo. Nine Months later, a few dollars, lots weekends outside working on the car, and this is where we stand.

Otherwise, this is basically how the car will probably look for the next year or so.

Pics of rims, mirrors and some other things coming first week in March. (Just waiting for the snow to melt and the salt to be washed away)

Lights are finally done. No more breathing fiberglass for a while for me.

Just a quick update on how the new corners are coming along. Working on the paint at the moment.

These are the new corner lights for the car. Before you ask, sorry, no, you can't buy them anywhere. These were custom made by me. Though, for the right price, I can definately make another set. (I did post a DIY in here if you want to tackle it yourself) I put the lights on the car just to see how they look. Right now they're back off and will be painted when the weather is a little warmer.

Some picture updates. This is about as far as I can go for the time being. I tried to get the muffler installed today, but the place we used before pissed us off so we walked out.

Just text updates today. Since I already have a pile of parts from the old Paseo, I'm definately not going to do what seems to be the trend and post a picture every time I clean my car or change the exhaust tip to a larger one (no tips for this kid, got the muffler sitting at home waiting to be installed). I'm going to get all the parts I currently have installed, get the engine clean and maybe the valve cover painted, and then take some pictures. No body kit yet though. Just bought the Paseo and a 2005 Scion tC, so I need some money first. What I will do is start listing the mods at the bottom of the page so if you have any questions about them, I'd be glad to answer.

The car was bought 5/7/05. The other Paseo was totaled and all the aftermarket parts will slowly be transfered over to this one.

Bare Bones Stock Paseo 5/8/05.

That is the most coolest Paseo I've ever seen. I admire the work put into this vehicle and how everything is executed to perfection. Your time and investment was well worth the effort, because Paseos are long lasting cars that don't give up; just like its owner. I have a Tercel, and I'm doing some pretty cool things to it. 5* for you.
