I mounted a rear blitz can to the trunk... I know some people love it and some people hate it, but i like it... Im not stupid, i only have gas in it if im wheeling not driving down the road cuz it could be dangerous otherwise... 

As if the Jeep didnt have enought technology in it, I decidied to add on one more thing. I noticed some of the competition rigs have little tach sized computers used to monitor the auto transmissions. Being that the 42RE is a verry good transmission, it also has alot more things that can go wrong if not properly monitored and maintained. So I mounted up a Digitron DT series monitor with backlight for nightime driving... It tells me my output torque and my trans temp. It also blinks at the top of the 42REs torque point so if im mudding i can tell when im no longer producing torque and just spinning my tires past the "power band". It will sound an alarm if my trans gets over 220 degrees and will also go off if my rpm exceeds power band. Besides when wheeling, when just driving around, Its nice to be able to watch my temperature and be alerted before something devastating happens. (sorry the pics upside down, idk how to flip it)

If anyone has any ?s please ask away as I know getting info on the ZJ is hard even though they are almost the same as XJ cherokees... Ive done everything from rewiring most of it, resoldering the computer VIC, installing other jeep parts and one ton parts to the performance and visual mods seen. 

I had two red LED strips hanging around so i decided id take the quarter vent covers off and wire the red LED strips in there so that at night you could see the red glow pouring out between the louvers and it looks sweet!!! I spliced the wires into the tailights, both the ground and power feed. LEDS only draw like a 1/4Amp so its not enough strain to trigger the LMO (lights out module) which will give you an error code on the VIC. However for those of you who want to do some sort of radical rear lights and are afraid of the LMO, you can actually unplug the whole system and plug both ends of the arness together bypassing the LMO entirely without throwing a VIC error. However this also makes it so if you get a blown bulb or a bad taillight wire, youll have no way of knowing until you get pulled over... I also added on two roof mounted wide mount prism reverse lights... I spliced them into the wirefeeds for the reverse lights in the taillight housing as wells as another feed from a switch on the dash. This does two things, It allows me to manually turn all four reverse lights on (stock and roof mounted) if im offroading in poor visibility conditions or wanting to light up the rear without being in reverse, and it also makes it so that when i put the jeep in reverse, the rear roof reverse lights come on as well as the stock ones... (which in the bottom pic werent fully completed yet)
