1990 Chevy Lumina 3.1 Euro 4 door

I'll have to look for pics as i'm not sure i even took any of my lovely white lumina.

if you look in the upper right corner of this picture of my 4runner you will see my '91 White Lumina.

patywgn's 1998 Toyota 4Runner

this is the car i was driving right before i bought my 4runner. it's such a great car and i wish i didn't have to get rid of it but i didn't need two cars and insurance for multiple vehicles is insane!

i tried so hard to find a good home for it with someone in my family so maybe some day i could buy it back, but nobody wanted it. i did eventually sell it to a friend of mine who was in need of a car and i'm sure she'll be kind to it.

Update: the girl i sold it to drove it for about a year and then traded it in on a Nissan Xterra. When I sold it to her, i specifically told her that in the future when she wanted to get rid of it that she should call me and i would buy it back from her. every time i saw her when she owned it we talked about the car and i reminded her that i would buy it back when the time came. well, she traded it for next to nothing and when i asked her why she didn't sell it back to me, she said "i thought you were joking". man that burned me inside. i don't know where it is now, but i'm sure some one is driving it with a smile on their face.

things i did to this car include:
-Blue headlights
-Blue interior lights (my dad says it looks like a sleazy bar, but i say it's the K-mart blue light special!)
-i cleaned the hell out of it, i detail cars :)

Engine mods:
-new electric radiator fan
-new radiator hoses
-new thermostat
i had a little overheating problem when i first got it, can ya tell?
-performance alternator
-new battery
-new power steering pump
-new power steering lines
-new rims and tires from another lumina (came off a black one so the inside of the rims was painted black instead of grey)

i had my Alpine cd player in it but i took it out before i sold it. i must say, the sound system in that lumina was amazing! all stock speakers but they thumped something crazy. i had people convinced that i had subs in the trunk until i opened it and showed them, they couldn't believe factory 6X9s could sound like that. i miss that but i'm sure my 4runner will bump when i get my new alpine speakers installed.

Nice ride man. Really like the 2oo2 headlight & grill conversion. Let me now if that just bolted because I was thinking of doing the same on my 98 4Runner.
