OK, I'm In Baghdad right now doing convoy security but I need to sell my beautiful car here which is in PA. All the info you could want is here on the page and I'm just going to leave the page as is with this forward intro. I've absolutely loved every minute I had this car and the only reason I'm selling it is since I still have a year left here before I get home. This '96 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro is an excellently mantained car. Completely loaded! I wish I didn't have to sell it but I'm in the National Guard and unfortunately I was deployed to Iraq (I'm in Baghdad right now) and will be getting married upon my return so now some priorities have changed. My loss is your gain. I've asked my parents to sell the car for me. The car drives extremely well. I've mostly driven it on the highway but she handles beautifully and is extremely smooth. German engineering at it's finest. The black leather interior is in immaculate shape with no discoloration or wear at all....when I bought her I could hardly believe the shape it was in. Very comfortable and they look great too. The sunroof is terrif with a very large opening and variable knob (you don't have to choose completely opened/cracked...you can choose exactly where you want it). I changed the oil every 3,000 miles and also replaced a few parts so you won't have to worry about. Timing belt, water pump, and serpentine belt were replaced in November of '03 and only have about 1,000 miles on them. I also replaced the front brakes and rotors in August, '03 and they have about 10,000 miles of use. The tires have at least 80% and are grippy continentals. The 2.8 liter 12v V6 is a strong engine, never settle for the 1.8!!!! With the few intake modifications I've made, I average 24-25 mpg on regular unleaded. Ice cold AC. There are currently 120,736 miles on her but you wouldn't know it. It is very clean under the hood with no oil splashes or anything of the sort. Perfect mechanical shape. Here are a few of the details....
-Timing belt, water pump, and serpentine belt replaced. (November, 03)
-Front brakes and rotors replaced August '03.
-Inspection, August, '03 (good through August, '04)
-XM Radio installed (Pioneer, works really well. Service last until August, '04)
-6 disk factory CD changer (Alpine. Costs over $300 new. I bought it at the end of '03 and have only put about 10 cd's through it! Brand new!!! It's still in the box in the trunk.)
I did a few minor intake modifications to increase performance and gas milage (roughly 18-20 HP gain, and a couple more mpg's).
-MAF velocity stack
-Self Bored MAF housing
-K&N panel filter
-Clear front corners (not installed, comes in a box)
-Clear side markers (installed, originals are included)
Here are some of the stock options:

OK, now I will try to list every possible little nitpicky problem there is because I'm anal and would want to know if I was looking at a car. There's a bulb that burned out in the dashboard that I never got a chance to replace before I left. You can still see it alright but I would replace it if I was still at home. There's a similiar bulb out on the temperature display for the climate control. You can go to Audiworld.com and there's an easy writeup on how to replace these. Very simple. The seat heaters are also not working at this time. I believe it's the fuse but I didn't get around to checking it. The lid for the center armrest is missing. There are a few little scratches and minor dings that most people don't notice but I do because, as stated earlier, I am anal about my car.
She's a beautiful Audi and her miles betray the condition she's in. I guarantee you'll love her just as I have. Please ask any questions you might have or special picture requests. My parents would love to help. Goodluck and happy bidding!

Nice what a little polishing will do!
