Just my 1985 300D Turbo Diesel. This was my daily driver with over 244,000 miles on the original engine. It rode on a rare set of Ronal 15" wheels made specifically to fit Mercedes Benz cars. These cars are well known to last with many examples that have 300K and 400K on them. There are even cars with over 500K and a few have reached the 1,000,000 mile mark. How many other non MB cars with mileage like this on their original drive train? Not many I would guess. These cars are about as solid as they get. No one builds cars like this anymore, not even Mercedes Benz!
Update Winter 2004: The photo with the car covered with snow is the same car this winter after about a week of snow fall. We had over a foot of snow!
Update 2-20-04: The bottom photo is of the odometer when it turned exactly 222,222.2 miles.

Your car is top-notch! What size rims and tires did you put on her? I'm about to buy a set for my 1985 300d LIMO. THAT'S RIGHT! I'll post it as soon as I get it out of the paint booth. Anyways, I want to get rid of the 14 inchers that do my car no justice. I was thinking 16's should do. But with what size tires? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
