Cars with short wheel bases are great on tight twisty tracks as they are agile but when you are on a fast sweeping corner track the longer wheel base cars have the advantage. The shorter wheel base cars tend to be more twitchy but still I prefer this as it comes down to the driver to keep it under control.
To assist with this, the car has now been widened with extended arches. These allow for the larger width wheels required. Bit more traction can never hurt.
The biggest advantage is that rear wheel drive cars are always at a disadvantage on the exit of corners over the AWD cars when fit comes to acceleration. This wide setup allows much greater tire surface area. I have now got the potential to run Tires as wide and 10 inch without the tire sitting outside other new arch.
Large GT Wing looks like its for show but its adjustability really can help when fine tuning the handling on track.
