over the winter i did some work to the car. here are the pics of what i have done

jimsnova74's 1974 Chevrolet Nova

i decided to get rid of the 350 and put in something with a little more power, this is the 454 that i built.

jimsnova74's 1974 Chevrolet Nova everyone was telling me that i needed to get some wider tires on the back, so i put on some 12" wide ones.

jimsnova74's 1974 Chevrolet Nova I got tired of the old bench seat in there, so i got some buckets then decided to get a floor shifter for it too.

After putting on stiffer springs in the front for the weight on the 454, and the wider tires in the back, this is how the nova stands right now.

Nice car.. I gat my rear end up with some air shocks. You should come check it out and tell me what you think. I like the new shifter. I bet that 454 is eating you alive in gas. That's why I pulled mine out and went back to a 350. Anyway nice car. Later.

Love the nova bet that sucker screams with that 454 or more like roars....anyway i love everything about it but what i think would look better is if you got a new rearend and tucked those 12's uunder the car and not have them stick as much then it look even hotter...like right now its a chili pepper but with the wheels allitle tucked in...not too much just maybe 1/2 inch sticking out it would look like a habanaro...or however u spell it-1974n0va
