This is my brand new 03 330i with the performance package, it comes with a modified In-Line 6, modifications to the 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder engine, which include different camshafts and performance-modified Digital Motor Electronics, yield a ten horsepower increase to 235 @ 5900 RPM and 300 FT LBS @ 3500 RPM. The red line limit has also been raised by 300. The Performance Package also comes with a 6 Speed manual transmission and a short throw shifter. Other Package features inlude 18in wheels w/ mixed sized tires, Alcantara sport steering wheel, aero kit, xenon headlights w/ black trim, a spoiler that is shared with the M3, and a high flow exhaust that sounds aggresive.
The Performance Package on the 330i is only being offered in the U.S . This 330i can outbrake a Ferrari 360 Modena and is the second fastest car to the M3 in the 3 series. The suspension on this is tuned firmly to optimize handling (trust me I can vouch for that given my driving habits). This car is also very stable at high speeds, when driving at 110mph it feels like I'm just cruising along. The first few pics were taken shortly after I detailed it myself.
