Nice looking Jeep, there is so much that can be done to them. I don't understand why it is rated so low, what's next to do to it? I have a Dodge, it has a few mods.
I could never take my Dodge off road it just would not hold up.

Drivers side head had 2 cracks... 2 new heads are already installed. Hopefully in about 2 weeks this puppy is back on the road...

Here we go again..... white smoke out of exhaust, Jeep said that they have never seen a blown head gasket on the 4.7L and wanted crazy $$ to diagnose it. So.. engine is broken down to the block, hands look like they went through a meat grinder, heads are going to be inspected for warping and further inspection of block is necessary as well. Pics to come.

Nick over at Kolak Performance sells Doug Thorley Headers. I believe he makes them for the V8 as well. I just bought the Inline V6 Thorley header from him. I ordered it with ceramic coating inside and out by Embree Performance. I also bought the rest of the exhaust system from him. I am very pleased. There is a picture of the V6 and V8 header on Kevin's Offroad, they sell the same system as Nick does for a little bit more. Nick sold me the entire system for a great price. You can check out the complete install on my WJ site on page 4. There are header install pics and more.

There is a picture of the header on Kevin's Offroad, they basically buy the system from Nick at wholesale prices and then resell them. Nick sold me the entire system for a great price.
