Welcome To LeGreatOne's Miata Pages.

Updated November 03, 2009
My second Optima Red Top (the first was replaced under warranty) went the way of the first, refusing to hold a charge for more than a few hours.
So, I'm now using an Odyssey PC1200MJT (Metal jacket), slightly smaller than the Optima, but apparently manufactured to be much more reliable, and able to withstand lots of charging cycles (deep cycle).  The Odyssey fits without modification in the space I had previously modified for the Optima. I didn't have to do anything other than to bend the top mount piece (that black metal wire thing that spans the top of the battery and attaches at the J-hook). I need to take photos and place them here, but trunk photos with the Optima mounted are already in my pages.
I recommend that everyone read the specs and info on the Odyssey before purchasing any other sealed battery.  UPDATE: I recently went on vacation and the car was not started for a full month. When I returned and turned the key, the car started immediately. The Odyssey battery is impressive.

Oooooh! Perforated Leather!

I have recently installed custom two-toned Katzkin leather seats and door panels, Redline Goods custom leather boots, and I have new Medium Beige plush carpet (CARPET INSTALLATION PICS on Page 17!)

LGO4409's 1995 Mazda Miata The Redline Goods Boot Package, Tan with a White stripe, is shown in the photos. I think it goes well with the Katzkin upholstery. I worked on adding performance to the car first (FM II turbo system, twin SPAL fans, Koyo Aluminum radiator, Goodwin/Wilwood 4 wheel BBK, Tein Flex suspension, FM Butterfly and Rail bracing, etc.), but I've recently thought that it was time to update the interior to give the car that NEW feeling. I think it's coming along quite well.
The car originally had an all-black interior, but not anymore!
