Adreneline NX

Ryan831's 1993 Nissan NX

My name is Ryan Martin. This is my car. It is in pretty good condition for a 1993 and I have added many mods to it. My mom drove a 93 like this off the lot in 1993 and loved it so much. So I decided to buy me one just like hers. Well, not quite.

This is a better side shot of my car. I put Meguires Wax on it once a week to make it look sharp. I think that the chrome side skirts really added a lot to the exterior. I matched the graphics and chrome to my 17" Progressive wheels.

I added a custom painted NX logo to my upper rear windshield. I also thought that the dual exhaust added a lot to its look as well.

And here is the engine. It really looks good now, but i just wish it was an SR20DET. The GA16DE Motor here may be pretty but this car would really be cool if I was packing one of those under the hood. Make no mistake, though, I would like to make this thing go faster. If someone knows anything about where I could get a Strut Tower Bar for my car I would really apreciate it.

This is a view of the interior, shift knob, pedals, custom painted dash, doors and console. I hope to add a lcd screen on the passenger side.

Two Alpine R Type subs powered by a coustic amplifier. You can imagine the power that this baby is packin'. I really don't know what to do back here yet though. I want to lay either Aluminum sheet metal or colored fiberglass. If I do the metal thing, I am going to remove the side walls and make custom enclosures.

Some other things that I have added to the car include:

ZTN bronze replacement windsheild
5% rear tinted windshield
suspension Techniques rear anti-sway bar
Pacesetter short throw shifter
5 in Tach

(dss9560): I have a maroon NX, too. For me, the rims/tires can make a big difference on how a car looks. My rim/tire size is 175/70/R13, and I specifially went online today because I wanted to see an NX with a larger rim/tire appearance...and your car was a great example for me (thank you!). I'm not a fan of large wings, but I respect that you enjoy the (large wing) appearance. Also (to make a plug for the NX), I love the feel of driving my NX - my clutch is smooth like "butter" , and the total "shift feel" is great...I feel a little like those guys in those "Zoom-Zoom" commercials (except it's an NX).

The car looks tight, but i dont really like the chrome on the sides. Just an opinion. I like the 5-spoke wheels. They look good on these cars. Im from MO too. How far are you from Troy? Lemme know. PEACE
