mrwizarrd2's 1991 BMW 7-Series

That's NIX V12 under a lot of snow - many more pictures coming soon.

Here's my Black 1991 BMW 750iL, also known as NIX V12. I bought it on eBay in January of 2003 for about $7000 (compare to retail price when new - ~$80,000 :)). It should be noted that pretty much everything added to this car was bought on eBay as well - I like eBay a lot.

No performance upgrades (I figured it was powerful enough as it is) - I focused on the sound system and inexpensive interior and exterior touches.

Sound system features:
-stock component speakers in the front and the rear, except the front tweeters were replaced by MB Quart tweeters
-Sony Xplod headunit (eBay, ~$150)
-Pyle Eternal PLA2370 2-channel 1400W amp for the subwoofers (eBay, ~$100)
-2X 12" 700W Q-Power chromed subwoofers in a bandpass box with a plexiglass side (eBay, ~$150)

Exterior mods:
-got new BMW emblems for trunk and hood (were faded) (eBay, $10)
-tinted windows (were tinted when I got the car)
-chrome grill kit (eBay, $25)
-chrome "V12" emblem on left rear side (comes from a Mercedes) (eBay, $20)
-(coming soon hopefully) carbon fiber on all blue parts of BMW logos
-(coming soon maaaybe) chrome door handle covers

Interior mods:
-(coming soon hopefully) some FatMat applied to trunk to dampen subwoofer rattles
-(coming soon hopefully) carbon fiber vinyl to cover up all woodgrain interior trim

Snow on your bmw? Good thing it was born in Germany. Odd that your trunk rattles, I've heard subs in an E32 and these things are solid from the get go. Check out wiring (of car and system) and the toolbox as possible causes.
