A good long while since I've posted here. We have since moved from Iowa to Georgia. The Cobra has been in storage in Iowa since the move, but we are going back next week to get it and visit with friends/families. Once back to Georgia, work will start on the Cobra again. The last time we had taken the Cobra out, it began to run like it had a bad miss. We limped it home and after some investigation found that the #1 spark plug ground was bent and touching the electrode, shorting the spark plug out. There was no evidence of anything foreign hitting it and no other noticeable damage. I can only assume we had run bad gas through it and detonation caused this. I'm hoping that it's a best case scenario and this is all that happened, but bracing myself for the loss of the top ring land of the piston. I have since bought a bore scope and will be giving it a thorough inspection when home, hoping for the best.
