Loving your ride. You Got some really great pictures of it. I really want a two door model. I love the XJ's. I wish mt school was as awesome as yours and had wheeling spots.

I went with the Posi-loc to save fuel and wear and tear. At the time I put it on the Jeep was my only transportation and I was putting a lot of miles on it. Now I have an Aussie in the front so I've lost the benefit of the disconnect for fuel and wear, but it does make it easier/safer to drive on-road in the snow. I have upgraded to shafts with the bigger x297 joint and modified them for full circle clips so I figure at this point if anything goes wrong I need to be on something bigger than a D30 anyways.

Why did you use the Posi-lok for the front axle? It would have been cheaper to find a High Pinion Dana 30 off a TJ or off another XJ.
