I haven't been here in a while to update my pictures, and I was so suprised at the number of hits I receieved! Wow! Thanks for the positive comments and I will try to update more frequently! Since the last update, I have added 560cc fuel injectors off of a Lancer Evo VII, and repainted my aero kit. This took so much time, but the exterior is finally at where I want it. Its approaching raining season in Japan, so I have not been able to take some decent pictures due to poor weather. Hopefully I will be able to take this up to the Yokohama Bay Bridge soon to get some really nice shoots.
Here's what's next of my agenda:
I figured it was about time to upgrade the brakes. The stock ITR brakes work really well, but with the extra weight from the turbo and the gobs of extra power and torque, it has taken a toll on the rotors. Instead of replacing the brakes with OEM stuff, I figured it'd be better to do a step better. After months of research on Honda Tech, I have finally found the ultimate and most cost-effective setup. I've decided to an NSX conversion.
A lot people have done NSX conversions on their Civics and Integras so you're probably wondering what this research is for. Many people may have done NSX brake conversions, but of them how many have done NSX-R(NA2) brakes? Not many! What's the difference? If you take a close look ar the picture of my NSX-R calipers on the right, you'll notice something different. Well, if you know your NSX's you would have noticed that the caliper brackets are spaced further away from the cartridge assembly than the regular NA1 NSX calipers. This allows for the use of larger rotors. Larger rotors mean more surface area which translate to less heat and better stopping power!
I added some bling bling red caliper paint and some silver heat resistant engine paint to make the "NSX" stand out for some shock and awe effect.

So, I got the NSX-R calipers and we all know that most Civics and Integras share the same brake pads as the NSX (including the NSX-R's). Now comes the hard part, finding the rotors that will fit. Clearance is an issue here. I like my OEM JDM wheels and I don't want to swap them out just so that my brakes will fit. But fortunately, the NSX-R calipers do clear the 16" OEM wheels. Unfortuantely, there aren't many rotors that will work with this conversion! NSX and NSX-R rotors have a different offsets so they won't work. The TSX's have the right diameter but the hat size is too small for the ITR. What do I use?
These!
These are Lockheed Delphi rotors for the Euro R. Actually, the manufacurer doesn't really matter. Accord/Torneo Euro R rotors seems to be the magic key! I know for the people in other parts of the world, Euro R parts may not be quite as easy to get. But you're not completely out of luck, because in my research process, I have found that the newer Honda Oddysey's (RA7, RA8, and RA9) have the same exact part number as the Euro R's.
I will be installing these in the coming weeks, so stay tuned...
