My car is a 1989 chrysler Lebaron GTC 2.2 Intercooled Turbo II with a A555 Trans.
The motor is mostly stock, the motor has been rebuilt by me and my dad it has less than 350 miles on it now the car its self has 142226 miles. I am still running cast pistons .020 over, rods are stock forged, I took the heavier forged crank out and put a lighter cast crank in. The head is stock with backcut valves the exhaust manifold is has been ported and polished. 2.5" open down pipe exhaust. The turbo is a Garrett T3 that has been rebuilt.
All the a/c stuff compressor condenser and all the lines have been removed, along with the heater core. Most of the interior has been stripped, all the seats, door panels, carpet, headliner, most of the extra plastic and metal under the dash has been cut out. The drivers seat has been replaced with a JAZ racing seat and I have a 5-point camlock harness from CROW. The car was lowered 2 inches in the front and 1- inches in the back. The battery has been relocated on the other side of the engine compartment for better traction. The wipers and wiper motor has been removed along with the headlights, we cut all the plastic out from behind the driver side headlight for better air flow to the intercooler and filter. We just added a 5th injector for more fuel cause i am runnig stock injectors. We all so removed the power steering pump and lines.
Well since it is the winter now and i can't drive the car i need to start working on it again. I will have new pics on my progress over the winter. I plan on getting a new Turbo, weld the diff soild, and maybe a 2-step and line-lock.
Best run so far on M&H slicks 23/7.5/15 Running about 20psi Boost on a mitsu turbo. I got the 20+ injectors then my garrett turbo took a crap on me so i put a old mitsu turbo on And ran.
