Starksy and Hutch 2003

In June 2003, I was invited to bring my car to the Starsky and Hutch movie set. A car scout for the movie saw my Monaco and asked if I wanted it in a movie. They needed 1970's cars for background traffic in the movie. I thought it was going to be a TV movie thing. Turns out I was at a feature film production by Warner Brothers.

Here my car sits next to the star car and a shot of the 180? turn in the movie.

Here, the Monaco is sitting at the bottom of the bridge waiting to follow the Starsky and Hutch Torino up the bridge. Since my car comes really close to the stunt Torino, it required a stunt driver. The picture on the right is my Monaco's stunt driver. He told me when he's picking out cars to drive, he "always picks the big boats" because they are the ones that get put up front in the action.

This is where the Monaco goes screaming by the Torino while honking its horn in the movie. The 2nd picture has the Monaco following the Torino. This was cut out of the movie, but fortunately put back in the "deleted scenes and gag reel" sections of the dvd.

Hi Max. Very nice and clean car. Congratulations, do you go to exhibitions or shows? I have to tell you I also own a 74 Monaco here in Mexico. It is a blue 2dr hardtop w/ black vinyl top. Regards to you and all the Monacos, Polaras and other Mopars fans. Come and check also my 74 Monaco and let me know your comments. Does anybody can tell how much could be a price for this Max car? thanks.

An old friend gave me a '74 Dodge Monaco that belonged to his father, and had been garaged for more than 20 years (When I say "garaged", I really mean garaged!) I was wondering, what is the value of your car in the market?
