Hi and thanks for checking out our (my dad and myself) '72 Mustang Mach-1. My dad bought the car in the winter of 98/99. The car took about two years to fully restore to the condition you see here. My dad did all the work himself at his bodyshop. The car itself was in great mechanical shape when we go it, the 302 was running and eager to go. The car also featured zero rust whatsoever, it just had a "minor" fender-bender ;).

The Mach-1 also likes to hang out with his friends, like this 1974 AMC Javelin:

Some quick specs:
The numbers matching engine is a 351 CJ. The 351 CJ is not in the car presently though, it needs to be rebuilt and beefed up first (of course :D).
It's soon to be specs are:
-351 CJ: fully rebuilt and hopefully pushing a good 450+hp
-4 Speed manual w/ Hurst T-Bar shifter
-3.91 positraction differential
All the parts are in our possession but have yet to be installed. The drivetrain currently in it is:
-1972 302, 2bbl, 2 bolt main
-Dual 2" exhaust system, Flowmaster mufflers and 2" chrome tips
-3 speed manual transmission
-3.03 open wheel differential
-1973 14" Forged Aluminum Mustang rims w/ BFG Radial T/A rubber
The interior is the base model interior found in just about every 1971-1973 Mustang. It's black vinyl which is especially great for those hot sunny days ;). We are working on completing a Deluxe interior setup that will include new seat covers (front and rear), new door panels, and a new midsection for the dashboard.
If you want to get an idea why the resto took two years you might want to see the "before" pics:
