As we were about to fix the Daytona, when we ran into problems with our brand new Modified Mini. We had a wreck where we had to replace the entire rear end of the car. After that we had more problems with our old Mini Stock car, blowing up 3 motors due to poor machine work and a cracked head.

Recently we were pulling the car out of the backyard to start work on it once again when we had a real big problem

Yup, totaled the Mini Stock. Now currently we are building a new car which is taking up the garage and all of our time.

Granted nothing else goes wrong (and you can never assume that in short track racing) we will be working on the Daytona about mid-September.

Anyone who has any ideas on any more modifications we can do to the car, please, let me know either by leaving a comment here or e-mail me at silentoutlaw@hotmail.com

Once again, here's a list of what's done so far:

Slightly Ported/Polished Head
Fresh Rods
Holly 350 carb (on a 1" spacer)
Hot intake
Freshly ground camshaft
Remove weight/a.c./power steering

Now, please stay within reason, I know lots of people say "just go turbo", well that's not in the plans right now. We are looking at www.karlsnet.com/mopar/ramair.shtml for better airflow. Other ideas are welcomed and apperciated.
