I wanted to change the look of my car and keep it unique; But didn't have enough cash for a paint job. So I decided to get the car vinyl wrapped. I did my research and chose the material; Hexis Super Deep Black Matte. I did some prep work removing the sharkfin antenna and the rear emblem; Then I filled the holes in with bondo and sanded/sealed everything. I had watched many videos and planned to do the wrap myself. I had experience using the 3M Dinoc Vinyl on my headlights and interior, so I thought that if I took my time I would have no problem. I spent 2 hours and almost had the hood finished. I ended up with one final bubble squeegeed into the middle before it popped. I decided it wasn't worth wasting more time or material, so I took the car to ProCal Vinyl Shop in Harrisburg, NC. They were great to work with, and I was really pleased with the results.
