1958 Triumph TR3
This car has been off the road, and garaged since 1975. I purchased the car hoping to do a complete, bolt-by-bolt, frame-off restoration and using it as a semi-daily driver.

This picture was taken right after purchase sitting in the previous owner's garage.
Like so many others I had other things to do that took preference over the Triumph! I've had the car for 18 years and, other than removing some of the chrome and placing it in the trunk years ago when I thought I was going to start on the car, nothing has been done to the car since I bought it!
The rest of these pictures were taken after I washed it up before putting it into storage until I could work on it.

Although it looks nice with the side windows in place and the top up I prefer the look with the top down and the toneau cover in place. I really like the way you can unzip just the drivers side and hop in for a solo cruise in the country.

As can be seen in these two pictures the motor has been partially disassembled.
When I first found the car the #4 cylinder was locked up. After several years the previous owner had decided to have somebody start working on it. The third and fourth cylinders were removed and the gentleman working on the car took the seized up fourth cylinder and piston to his house to soak them and try to get them separated. Unfortunately he shortly after that suffered an heart attack and passed away. By the time the car owner found out a couple of months had slipped by and the part was lost!
In 1999 I purchased a set of four used cylinders and pistons with the intent of using them to rebuild the motor. I've never done anything to start on that either and now I'm just giving up on the dream of restoring and driving this car so it's currently up for sale.
Update: This car was sold. Someday I hope to purchase another (though one in running condition next time!).
