My 1990 Jeep Comanche, RWD, Inline 6...

havent really done any performance upgrades to it yet... just a K&N air filter.. another 3 hp.. but i want to get a cone filter. If i take out the original box, ill have plenty of room to put in a 6" diameter filter.

UPDATE (1-16-04)
----------------------------------------
well... my comanche died
i was driving down the highway, and i guess a piston rod snapped and blew several holes through my engine block.

so, does anyone know of some good sites to look at for new engines?

then i decided to put a hood scoop into the truck.. looks pretty good just sitting on it..

the scoop itself..

then the hood primered, with the scoop attached... fully functional hoodscoop..

-the truck really needs the scoop too..
always runs hot, even with a new radiator. i guess any extra air to the engine should help.

cool comanche but under your bragging rights it says your top speed is 150 and that you have 200 horsepower. The speedometer stops at 85 and the engine stock is suppose to get between 170 to 180. and yeah i know you have the k&n filter but that's only 3 hp like you said. so yeah besides that nice truck.

hey, that's one wicked jeep, nice work on it too, keeping the colour in sync too, that's just about what I'm doing with my xj, I even intend to put a hood scoop on too, well, later on that is, I'm still working on getting it road-worthy. come check it out.
