SR20VE SwapIt all started off in the beginning of summer 2007. The stock SR20DE blew, and I figured that if I was to go through the whole engine swap process, I may as well upgrade. Since I did not want to deal with the overheating issues I have seen here locally with turbo engines and longer track sessions, I decided I would go with the SR20VE engine. The SR20VE engine has the Neo VVL system, allowing a bump in crank HP from 140hp to 187hp. It is a variable valve lift system, with two sets of cams, much like Honda's V-TEC system. Here are the pictures. Note that I have fixed some intake issues since they were taken, and some parts have changed. I have yet to take a picture of the current setup. Stay tuned for updated pics!
