HRBM63Wagon's 1969 Ford LTD

This 2 door 1969 Ford LTD was rescued from a garage about three years ago. It's a Virginia car so after replacing a quarter there is no rust on the car. It has a new paint job, VW Candy White, which is non-metallic. The black vinyl top is in surprisingly good condition, but the cloth stitching is rotting steadily away. The hood and trunk emblems were both shaved. The back window is tinted 5%, and the front four windows are tinted 20%. The car is also riding on 16x8 polished aluminum wheels.

The interior is blue, with a reupholstered front seat in the wrong material. The back seat needs recovering, and the dash has more cracks in it than a plumber's convention. The bright spot is that the rest of the interior is spotless (ie all the weird parts you'd have a hard time finding) and I just replaced the carpet.

The car was originally a 390, but I installed a late model 460, along with a late model c6 3 speed tranny. The car has the factory 9 inch, which I have no idea what the gear ratio is. I've bolted on an Edelbrok Performer 750 cfm carb with the K&N air filter. The car also has a dual exhaust with glasspaks, so it sounds awesome.

As for sound, I am running a Sony XPlod 4x50 head unit with a Power Acoustik 1400 Watt amp driving two 12" Atomic Loudspeaker 800 Watt subs. As for highs, there is a 100 Watt amp (I think Kenwood, but not positive) pushing two 3 way Pioneer 6x9's in the package shelf, and two Radio Shack horn tweeters in the dash. It does pretty well for itself. The stereo was installed so that it can be removed without leaving a trace in the car, should a muscle car person buy it.

This car is SOLD!! Page will be left up for informational purposes.

Here's a nice shot of the front corner.
