Went to the Mopar Madness Weekend Show, now moved to St.Charles, IL and the Pheasant Run Inn.  I saw some real awesome new Mopar and the usual local cars.  Real good news is a steal of a deal, a set of 4 W15 Deep Dish Wheel Covers for $50 and they were in good shape.  I also saw the mostly unrestored "Revell-Monogram" 1969 Charger R/T owned by John Rusnak.

Just dropped the wheels and intake manifold off at restoration Specialists.  The wheels are gonna get dipped and e-coated, and the intake will only be dipped.

(7/8-11/2011)

Off to Carlisle PA, for the All Chrysler Nationals.  I scored a lot of parts from Mega Parts and took more pictures, unfortunatley we only stayed one day.  We also visited the WyoTech campus in Blairsville, PA.

Today was a great day for the Belvidere Happening at the Boone County Fairgrounds.  We scored over $250 worth of parts from Mega Parts and took more refernce pictures.

(8/4/2011) The Charger finally went into the booth for the underside, engine compartment, and trunk to get sprayed, next time the fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid, wheels and some miscellaneous pieces will get their turn. Now to wait for the buffing and polishing.

Here is the inside of the trunk on the right side, it is OK but I would've like a bit more undercoarting on the inside of the quarter.

Factory style, glob of seam sealer, nice.

Here is the inside of the trunk on the left side, it is OK but I would've like a bit more undercoarting on the inside of the quarter.

This car had the paint fade just like this so that was recreated
here is the other side.  I actually now, wish I had told Joey to put a tad more paint in this area, alas, I must live with it now.

Wow I am jealous. My dream car is a 69 charger but I'm still going to restore my Road Runner to this level

No need to be jealous, there' plenty of '69 Chargers around and I'm sure you'll find just the right one. Stay away from "True Muscle Cars" of Lake Villa, IL though. Good luck with the Roadrunner! :D
