That's when life got in the way... several times (which, I must add, is not always a bad thing). So the TC sat in the garage (actually a few garages) for the next 10 years. During that time I moved twice, got married, and had two kids. I drove mostly crap cars during that time as well except for the '93 SHO. I loved the SHO. Not as much as the TC, but it was awesome. It also had a lot of problems and ended up getting donated.Fast forward to 2010...I was driving a '99 Mercury tracer at the time. Well it kicked the bucket. Bent valves and everything. It was not pretty, but it ended up working out very nicely for me because it FINALLY got me to start thinking about getting the TC back up and running. I bought a freshly rebuild motor from a guy who was planning on building a TC to race. Fortunately for me that never happened and I bought the fully rebuilt head, block, some injectors, an intercooler, and various miscellaneous parts from him for $850 shipped. The block was bored .030 over with TRW pistons. The head was lightly ported and had oversized valves installed. I made out pretty good on that deal!
