On my truck the hood isnt a real cowl induction...its the factory hood that i rivited a cowl induction type scoop and I used filler to smooth it off. But I did drill some wholes in the hood so some air can get to the motor. My dad found the scoop when he went to Carlisle one year, it was $50.00 for the induction scoop and $100 for and aftermarket stock hood.
