ok ok..... a great deal of time has past since I last updated my page and well, if you didn't already know.... my celica was sponsored by Phoenix Gold to promote and show off their Octane R product line-up.
here are some pics of the install work that I have been gradually and ever so slowly working on over the past few months and yes, i will say it again.... that I DID !!! (with a little bit of added help and advice from the guys at E.A.C. - elite auto creations)
(note: this was my first major attempt at such an advanced stereo install)
starting off with the basic enclosure for the subwoofers
and the construction of the butterflied amp racks and extended center console that will hold and hide all the wires (for that clean look and because there are no more rear seats) and some toggle switches for all the accessory lighting controls
Fiberglassing in it's prime - oh yay !?!
for those of you that have never worked with fiberglass and resin.... damn it's so freakin' messy and ever so time consuming !!!
a view as to where and how the ampracks are in positioned where the rear seats used to be 
ok ok.... so here's a sneak picture of the trunk area from HIN seattle back on May 1st.
i say "sneak" because it still isn't anywhere near complete... YET
i still have some rear hatch pods and monitor housings to make as well as some other little goodies (new rear speaker pods, panel covers, ext.) too so gimme about a month more and it'll be 110% completed... umm, yeah right, its a "project" so like it'll ever be completed - lol !!!
