I have wanted to upgrade the exhaust system for some time now, preferably a dual exhuast for looks. However ever place I went to said It was not possible due to the rear axle and that the SLT has rear load leveling air suspenion. They said the exhaust would pop the air bladders but I found that hard to believe. Finally I found a place that said it was feasible and I planed out the system I wanted. I used a bullet 20'' muffler to replace the old mid muffler and went with 3'' inlets and outlet. The 3'' out went all the way to the rear passenger tire where it splits into two 2.5'' pipes and feed into 2 stainless steal Magnaflow mufflers with 4'' tips. Setup turned out great! and for $200 less than the Borla system I believe it is better. With a nice mellow tone, and absolutely quiet at Idle.
