This is my 1982
280ZX. Originally I purchased this car as a cheap commuter in July of 2000 for $800. It did not take long before I really enjoyed driving this car.
So I have decided to keep this car running and fix it up a little.
I have painted the hood scoops black. Added a rear spoiler "$ 90.00 with shipping from e-bay". The rear louvers came from a local junk yard "$20.00". All it took to make the stock rims shine was a jar of
Mothers MAG & ALUMINUM POLISH "And a lot of
elbow grease!"
In the first part of this year 03 I purchased another 82 ZX and a beat up 79 parts car for $850.00.
I was able to get the red ZX running."It had a bad ignition module."
And now like his father, my son drives an 82 280ZX.
Our two ZX's are almost identical with the exception that mine has T Tops and his has the 79 hood.
