Here are some pics of my new car. It is a 2001 PT Cruiser. I have added roughly a grand so far of extra accesories. No car is any good unless it has some horsepower to go with the looks, so I am currently saving for a turbocharger which will raise the horsepower to 215 (The same as the 2003 GT model). Check out the pics and let me know your opinions and what you think. Thanks.

This pic is of tyhe car before I added much to it. The only thing that really sticks out at all is the paint job.

This pic is of the car after I added most of my new parts.

This picture shows the PT recently lowered. I had new springs installed to lower the car 2 1/2 inches and get rid of the ugly gap between the fender and the top of the tire.

Here is the first of three shifters that I have added since buying the car. I have a problem with buying new ones every thime I see a better one I like. Some tools are required but anyone with an I.Q. above 80 can put this on their PT. It took 15 minutes to install. Once the new shifter is on, you can add any knob you like. I found this skull shifter knob at the local Auto Zone for $20.

This is the second shifter. It is piston shaped, and matches the door locks on the car.

This little beauty is the latest and greatest shifter. It is covered with chrome flames, which I felt went better with the flame and chrome theme of the car.

My favorite addition so far. This is my flame mirror. Watch out this thing is sharp! It's another easy installation, but costly. The mirror runs around $150.00 depending on where you shop.

stonetone's 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser BEFORE This is what the shifter console looked like before I added the new molding. It is a flat gray color that is found on most of the interior of the car.

stonetone's 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser AFTER Here is the finished product. The new molding looks a lot better. It's not one of those modifications you would really notice unless you owned a PT Cruiser. The next page has the rest of the molding added that you can check out. A 6 piece kit will run you around $280.

Picked these cool floor mats up yesterday. Theylight up when the car is oon. They look really good at night. You can make out the outline of the flames a bit in the picture.
stonetone's 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser This shows the mats a little better at night. It really looks nice and adds to the whole flame theme.
stonetone's 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser Here is my new interior lighting. I pulled out the old bulbs, covered them with a blue silicon covering and reinstalled them. If you would like any advice on how to do this to your own cruiser, send me an Email or check out my links page on page 3.
stonetone's 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser This is my new brake light. Instead on the stock red barke light, I covered the inside on the lens with a vinyl precut label and reinstalled it. Now it has the flame outline. I get a lot of people asking about my light at stop lights.

I added these headlight covers. They were really very simple to put on.

Next to go on were these chrome mirror covers. They go over the existing covers and add a nice touch. No assembly or tools were needed.

This has to be the easiest accesory ever created. Simply peel the tape off the back and apply. It covers the original "Chrysler" emblem and adds a nice custom touch.

Just added this to my car. A little tribal flame to decorate the back.

Some steering wheel bar covers that I just added on.

Some cheap seat belt pads that I picked up at the local auto parts store. I know it's nothing original because eceryone has trhem, but they help out my interior.

stonetone's 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser

I painted these billet knobs on the air vents myself. Probably the easiest thing to do.

stonetone's 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser

My new chrome antenna. It adds to the theme of the car.

stonetone's 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser

These are some chrome door guards that I found in a PT Cruiser catalog. The stock color is an ugly flat black. The picture at the top of the page shows what the car looks like before the addition.

This chrome emergency brake cover is something that I came across on Ebay. The stock was the same color as the seats.

stonetone's 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Here are my newly installed instrument guage covers. As you can see I'm trying to get a little more chrome on the car. Chrome and flames.

stonetone's 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser

My newest addition. These are my new taillight lenses. They are APC Eurostyle. Found these on Ebay as well. They'll set you back $185.00.

Still no turbocharger yet, but it's coming soon. Check back for some new updates.

Hey nice Cruiser, Like the flame job. Everything that you have done to it looks great. Where did you get the tribal flame, out in the back. Also where did you get those steering wheel spokes. Check my ride out and let me know what you think.
